Did Curiosity really kill the cat?

There are many parables out there, which aim to teach us lessons. Some of them we agree with and some of them make us shudder. One thing is for certain, these parables have positive and negative effects on society as a whole.
The phrase "Curiosity Killed the Cat" is one that frequently bothers me whenever I hear it. The idea being to take heed being "too curious" else it might cause you to come to harm.
Guide to 7 Habits for Highly Effective People
What is a habit ?
A habit is an internalized principle. A principle is a statement ‘words on paper’ that describe an idea. Internalization of a principle comes by combining knowledge, skills, and attitude. For any principle there is the what to do (knowledge), how to do it (skill), and why/want to do it (attitude). Combining these things allows us to internalize the principle and thus make it a habit.

The real question is. Does it affect YOU??

The North American House Hippo
One of my favorite commercials of all time!
"It's night time in a kitchen just like yours; all is quiet, or is it?"
"The North American house hippo is found throughout Canada and the Eastern United States. House hippos are very timid creatures and they are rarely seen, but they will defend their territory if provoked. They come out at night to search for food, water, and materials for their nests."

The importance of Surveys
The role and importance of surveys in everyday life:
Perhaps you can relate, I often find myself getting phone calls, sometimes several a day, asking me to complete some new survey on something.Luckily the people that call me are often polite and considerate of my time. I am sure it cannot always be easy for them trying to give a phone survey. Especially dealing with frustrated people disturbing there otherwise "quiet" day. It could be worse, it could be someone trying to sell you another credit card with a low introductory rate!
Top 10 Home automation Projects
So the good news is I'm getting a new home, my own home, not a mini-home with it's own basement, and a 28x28 garage. I'm pretty excited about it, and I've been ordering all kinds of gadgets on ebay to take with me to my new home.
So when I came across this blog from lifehacker, I just had to post it here
How to keep your computer virus free for FREE

AVG Anti-virus, simply put is the best anti-virus software for the windows operating system.
If your a windows user (and who isn't these days?) you simple have to get anti-virus software. I can't tell you how many times people have asked me to fix their computer because it was 'acting strangely' only to find out it was loaded with viral infections, all of which could have been avoided with a simple virus scanning tool.
And why pay hundreds of dollars, when you can get AVG for free?
